Child spotted apparently drinking beer at U.S. baseball game. A young child has been caught apparently swilling from a beer bottle at a baseball game in America, prompting fresh outrage towards the already controversial fans of the Philadelphia Phillies.
Footage of the small child, who appears to be as young as three or four, shows him drinking from a beer bottle while in the crowd at Sunday's match between the Phillies and the Padres.
The identity of the child, or the adults surrounding him, was not known and it has not been confirmed whether the bottle actually contained beer.
But this has failed to stop the swell of anger towards the Phillies fans, who already have a dubious reputation.
In recent weeks a Phillies fan was charged with aggravated assault after intentionally vomiting on the 11-year-old daughter of an off-duty police officer.
Last month another fan who ran on the field had to be Tasered by security.
